Frankies Bikinis is a female-led lifestyle brand recognized for its on-trend designs, innovative fabrics, and inclusive styles for people of all sizes to feel confident and beautiful. Founded by mother-daughter duo Mimi and Francesca Aiello in their Malibu home in 2012, the brand has since grown into an internationally recognized company. Their journey has included collaborations with iconic women such as Bella Hadid, Pamela Anderson, Sydney Sweeney, Gigi Hadid, Naomi Osaka, Hailee Steinfeld, and Sofia Richie.
From swimwear to ready-to-wear clothing, knits,and activewear, Francesca has expanded Frankies Bikinis' offerings to include a wide range of ultra-flattering, feminine styles. ABOUT FRANCESCA AIELLO
Francesca Aiello was raised in Malibu where the close-knit surf community shaped her earliest inspirations and creative spirit. Summers spent as a junior lifeguard, afternoons surfing, and evenings at water polo practice meant Francesca was constantly covered in sand, always moving between the ocean and pool, always in a swimsuit.
As a teenager, Francesca began designing and custom-making her own bikinis after spotting a confident woman on the beach wearing a skimpy style she couldn’t find anywhere else. With encouragement from her mother, she brought her designs to life, and before long, friends were requesting custom pieces too. What began as a personal passion quickly grew into something more. An early adopter of Instagram, Francesca launched @frankiesbikinis to showcase her creations, ultimately creating a brand that would lead her to become the youngest designer ever to show at Miami Swim Week, a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, and a winner of Fashion Collaboration of the Year at the Daily Front Row Awards.
Today, Frankies Bikinis has stayed true to Francesca’s beach-born roots. At the heart of it all remains the influence of her mother, Mimi, who continues to be her closest collaborator and biggest inspiration. Together, they lead with instinct, creativity, and a passion for designing pieces that make women feel confident, powerful, and beautiful.
