We've brought Frankies to you, New York City, with our first brick-and-mortar store in SoHo. Founder and Creative Director, Francesca Aiello, says the store "will feature our bestselling pieces, new swim and apparel, and exclusive pieces from the Gigi Hadid x Frankies Bikinis collab."
“Not only are a lot of our Frankies Bikinis customers based in New York City, but this is a city that is at the heart of the industry,” Francesca told WWD Magazine. “I pull so much inspiration from New York and I love that people are really willing to take risks with their fashion choices and use the fun fabrics, prints and silhouettes I release to create their own personal looks. As we continue to grow, expand into more categories and experiment with new fashion trends, I think that New York is a perfect place to bring those to life.”

Retail expansion has been a major focus for Francesca, which is a key reason she decided to create her first brick-and-mortar store in the city of fashion.
Francesca's vision with opening the SoHo store this summer is to give the Frankies Girl a fun shopping experience where you can see Francesca's high-end fabrics and trending styles in person. Francesca says, “One major goal of mine when designing this pop-up was giving our customers the unique Frankies Bikinis shopping experience that they get on our ecommerce platform, in person. From how we merchandise the product to each specific decor aspect, the goal is to inspire and spark creativity in each customer as soon as they walk through the doors”. Details like the skateboard deck wall design brings the Southern California beach culture to the city of New York, while the outside larger than life windows displaying the brand’s campaign images tie in the endless possibilities that the city of New York is known for.
While Frankies lives in stores worldwide, Francesca wanted a store entirely based on her vision. "Having a retail space allows me to tell the Frankies Bikinis story to our customers in person. And because our story is so personal and unique to our brand, it is something I am prioritizing and looking forward to bringing to people around the country."
Over all else, Francesca wanted this store to embody her family's home in Malibu. The "Malibu Fantasy" is simple and calm with lots of baby blue tones and florals. There's also something to be said about growing up in a beach town, always having salt in your hair, skateboarding home from long beach days with your surfboard gripped under your arm. It's a personal story that she's excited to share with our New York audience.
The store is now open at 112 Mercer Street, New York 10012 all summer long, and hours of operation are Monday - Saturday from 11am - 7pm and Sunday from 12pm - 6pm.
