A collaboration years in the making, born out of a longtime best friendship, we'd like to introduce you to Devon Lee Carlson x Frankies Bikinis: Sunshine Girls. Inspired by their shared love of archival fashion, dogs, and of course, bikinis, the collection was designed to transport you to a sunnier world. We invite you to take a step into Francesca and Devon's universe - a sunny place where vintage rules and joyful, bright colors reign supreme. The happiest of worlds with whimsical patterns in the air, fashion at the forefront, and dogs firmly in the center of the universe.
"Collaborating with Devon was truly so special. As longtime friends we have a connection that's hard to match. We really wanted to create a collection that felt like us - sunshine and dogs included. Both of us dove into our closets, finding our most treasured archival pieces to use as inspiration. Bright colors, playful patterns, and vintage silhouettes were the through-line leading us to design a collection filled with whimsy, happiness, and high fashion inspiration."

As playful as she is chic, Devon's fearless sense of style leads the collection design. Early 2000's fashion favorites like low rise jeans and sweat sets make a comeback with the Sassy low-rise jean (a Frankies first) and the Robertson terry sweatshirt and terry lounge pant. The Diva ribbed baby tee and matching Paulina ribbed cotton mini shorts fit right in with this Y2K fashion dream, giving low-rises and snug, but flattering fits.
Vintage-inspired silhouettes from the 1950's and 1970's pulled directly from Devon and Francesca's closets heavily inspired favorite pieces from the collection. Sultry draped jersey dresses like the Secret jersey midi dress and the Lalala jersey mini dress offer body skimming, flattering fits, ideal for a night-out.
Eyelet and crochet styles feel feminine and sweet in mini dress and baby doll dress fits. The Lee eyelet mini dress and Sky cotton babydoll dress are delicate while still feeling sexy with extra short cuts and surprise plunge backs. Custom daisies are incorporated into each piece - a nod to Devon's beloved dog Daisy.
Animal prints like reversible red and purple leopard print and classic tiger are a Devon Lee Carlson neutral. The Stevie chiffon midi dress is a night out staple, feeling elevated and fun at the same time. Our best-selling Elena satin bikini top, Divine satin bikini bottom, Cherish satin push-up, and Marina satin cheeky bikini bottom have been reimagined in reversible red and purple leopard print. Our new tiger print spans across five flattering swim styles, Ireland, Nick, Harper, Mackenzie, and Zuma.
Always playful, Devon and Francesca added plenty of flirty chiffon and sequins to the collection. The Daydream sequin chiffon mini dress is the ultimate party dress - flouncy, short, and covered in sequins. The Elena sequin bikini top and matching Luna sequin bikini bottoms make for an incredibly special sequin bikini that pairs back the collection perfectly.
"We wanted to make clothes to have in our dream closet. The clothes that you would see in movies and wishing you could wear it when you grow up!!! It’s all here. We dove into our own closets and took inspiration from our favorite vintage pieces. We want everyone to have fun and get dressed up with your girls and enjoy life!!
