How hard was it to keep your SI feature a secret and who was the first person you told?
Well, I told my boyfriends and my mom and both of them didn't know what it was, and I was like: this sucks. I want to run out of my house and scream of happiness and excitement and they were just "Oh, you got into a sport mag, that's nice."
I didn't feel as if modeling was fulfilling for me at the time, I went to work for a management company that reps script writers for TV and film. At some point, my mother agent asked me if I could see SI swimsuit. I thought 'why not?' And after shooting with them so many doors opened for me and I had opportunities to do so much more than just go on location and leave at the end of the day: red carpet, events, interviews, TV appearances and ect. I feel like people care about who I am now and it makes me try harder to be a better human.
My favorite part of modeling is meeting people. You never know who you are going to meet and that always grounds me and helps me keep an opened mind. Also, I don't know many jobs that could offer this consistent change of scenery and opportunity to meet absolutely awesome people. And the least favorite part of modeling is never knowing what you going to do next.
How do you maintain your beach bod?
Whenever I have a shoot that requires me to show my body, I try not eat foods that might bloat me and I always use spray tan!
What is your favorite foods off the set?
I really like red meat. And coffee. And bacon. And cheeseburgers. Pasta. Dumplings. I don't diet obviously.
What is your go-to beauty routine?
I really like makeup and I like to try new things and new tricks, but tone, blush and eyelash curler are my musts!
Any secret beauty tips?
I always wash my face at the end of the day to get rid of pollution and makeup. Sunscreen. Moisturizer.
Your poses are always so fierce, do you have any advice to help our readers nail their IG selfies?
Haha this actually made me laugh, I believe light is the key to everything. And also the attitude: I have this cold Russian look and I really struggle with smiles and laughs. But everyone looks best when they are enjoying themselves.
Your dog “Good Times” has a pretty unusual name. Where did the name come from?
He is named after my favorite bar 'Good times at Davey Wanes', it's 70s themed bar. When I got Good Times he was burned orange color, and I thought 'Oh that is a such a 70s color', the rest is history...
We were so surprised when you said in your SI interview that you would love to do a photoshoot with Trump! Tell us more about why you think modeling together would be fun.
When I was asked that question I thought: 'Who would be the most ridiculous person to shoot with?' Still stand by it: THE MOST RIDICULOUS PERSON.
I'm just waiting over here if someone offers me to get onto a spaceship. I'm actually serious, do you know anyone?
