Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Frankies Bikinis Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring logistics between production, our 3PL fulfillment center, and our ERP system. This role will engage in day-to-day communication with our 3PL handling any questions regarding inventory, shipments, and resolving any larger warehouse issues. Additionally, they work with the Sales Operations Coordinator to ensure wholesale orders are executed correctly with our 3PL by handling any vendor specific requirements. The Logistics Coordinator will facilitate deliveries into our 3PL, managing incoming PO’s, and acting as a liaison between production and our 3PL. While overseeing the logistics of our warehouse, this role will be responsible for monitoring inbounds alongside the Quality Control Manager to ensure all inventory is up to standard and alongside the Production Managers to organize inbounds from start to finish. They will assist the Operations Manager in communicating promotional events, key dates, and forecasting to our warehouse. The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role of the Operations team in coordinating the flow of all supply chain needs.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

● Manage incoming Purchase Orders by creating packing lists, managing PO appointments

● Assure all incoming inventory is quality checked regarding heat transfers, tickets, etc.

● Investigate problems regarding UPC stickering, 3PL receiving issues, over/under shipments, short ships, and outbound shipments

● Handle day-to-day issues with our warehouse regarding shipping methods or shipment errors

● Implement work orders with our 3PL to resolve issues and create seamless pick/pack systems

● Work with the Sales Operations Coordinator on any vendor specific requirements

● Assist in supply ordering

● Monitor delivery dates and any potential carrier delays

● Monitor our 3PL’s e-commerce and wholesale SLA

● Manage receiving and shipping priorities and provide priority lists to our 3PL

● Provide forecasts, key dates, and promotional calendars to the warehouse

● Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Operations Manager

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or operations
  • 3+ years experience in logistics or a similar field
  • 1-2 years experience with 3PL’s and the process of receiving and shipping goods
  • Experience with Apparel Magic ERP is a plus
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Detailed knowledge of multi-channel e-commerce and wholesale distribution
  • Great planning, organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must
  • Advanced level in Excel
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to learn and work on a team
